
Dr. Christos Ioannidis graduated from the Pavol Jozef Safarik Medical School in Kosice, Slovakia in 2005. He began his medical practice by taking a position as a physician at the General Hospital of Sparta for two years, completing his compulsory rural service. He then served for three months as a military doctor in units of the Cypriot Army.
In 2009, he began partial specialization in Internal Medicine for two years and subsequently, after successfully passing the exams of the Cyprus Ministry of Health, he continued and completed his specialization in Cardiology for four years.
In 2015, he received his specialization title in Cardiology after examinations at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. For six months, he trained in advanced echocardiographic techniques at the echocardiography training center of Tzaneio Hospital in Piraeus, where he also served for one year as a scientific associate, participating in research protocols, publications, and conference presentations with a primary focus on echocardiography.
In 2016, he was appointed by the Cyprus Ministry of Health to Larnaca Hospital as a specialist Cardiologist, serving in the public health system for four years. Since 2020, he has maintained a private cardiology practice contracted with GESY at the Scalamed clinic.
