
Dr. Dimitra Moschou was born in Larnaca in 1987, with origins from the occupied district of Famagusta. She graduated from Vergina High School of Larnaca in 2005. She graduated from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace, Greece in 2011. She began her Compulsory Rural Service at the General Hospital – Health Center of Lemnos for the Mudros Regional Medical Office for one year. In 2013 she began her specialization in Rheumatology, completing the General Pathology part at the General Hospital of Katerini, and in 2017 she started the specialized part of the Rheumatology specialty at the Rheumatology Clinic of GNA “KAT” (Director: Sousana Gazi).
She holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Metabolic Bone Diseases from the Medical School of the University of Athens with honors, while she is now in the final stage of completing her Doctoral Dissertation on Rheumatoid Arthritis.
She has participated as a researcher in studies and actively participates in conferences in Greece and internationally, with multiple contributions, presentations, and as a speaker.
She is a Regular Member of the Hellenic Society of Rheumatology (ERE), a Regular Member of the Hellenic Osteoporosis Foundation (EL.I.OS.), a Regular Member of the Hellenic Society for the Study of Bone Metabolism (EEMMO), a Regular Member of the Scientific Society for Musculoskeletal Health (EPEMY), and a member of the Rheumatology Society of Cyprus.
