• Graduated with honors from the Semmelweis University of Medicine, Budapest (6 years). Obtained M.D. title in 2001.
• Excelled in the DIKATSA exams (Patras, 2002), degree recognized with distinction.
• Obtained the title of Vascular Surgery, Thessaloniki, 2009.
• Training in endovascular surgery (performing angiography, peripheral angioplasty, minimally invasive correction of aortic aneurysm, carotid angioplasty).
• Training and experience in conducting non-invasive vascular studies (Doppler of peripheral vessels in diabetics, Doppler of veins for diagnosis of thrombosis or insufficiency, Doppler of carotids, limb stress test with ankle-brachial index measurements, vein mapping for upcoming varicose vein surgeries).
We provide a fully equipped laboratory with state-of-the-art machines specialized in the accurate evaluation and diagnosis of the entire spectrum of vascular diseases.
SPECIALIZATIONS:
• Specialization in minimally invasive percutaneous treatment of varicose veins with LASER (Leipzig, Germany – 2012).
• Specialization in the use of percutaneous LASER for the treatment of telangiectasia with Leonardo dual 45 diode laser (Leipzig, Germany – 2013).
• Specialization in the use of percutaneous LASER for the treatment of telangiectasia with Fotona dualis xp.
• Specialization in microsclerotherapy of small varicose veins and in foam sclerotherapy of large varicose veins under ultrasound guidance (Athens, Greece – 2014).
• Specialization in minimally invasive treatment of perianal conditions such as hemorrhoids, perianal fistulas, pilonidal cyst (Sana Clinic, Lubeck, Germany – 2016).
• Specialization in the minimally invasive vein treatment technique with glue – VENASEAL (Sobeh Vascular Centre, Dubai – 2016).
• Specialization in the minimally invasive pharmaco-mechanical treatment of varicose veins (MOCA) with the revolutionary Clarivein device (Verona, Italy – 2016).
• Member of the cardiothoracic surgery team at Apollonion Private Hospital.
