
Dr. Nikoletta Chatziapostolou was born in Athens in 1986. After passing the nationwide entrance exams, she secured a place in the Medical Department of the University of Crete, from which she graduated in 2010. Immediately afterwards, she worked as an intern doctor at the General Hospital of Famagusta in the Departments of General Surgery and Internal Medicine for one year.
In 2011, she began her specialization in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Ierapetra in Crete. In 2012, after examinations, she began working as a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Gynecology Clinic of Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia for one year, followed by one year at the Gynecology Clinic of Limassol General Hospital, and then for another two years at the Gynecology Clinic of Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia, where she completed her specialization.
Alongside her specialization, she began postgraduate studies titled “Research in Female Reproduction” at the Medical Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the same time, she also obtained certification in first trimester prenatal screening (Nuchal Translucency – NT SCAN) from the Fetal Medicine Foundation of Kypros Nicolaides.
