Dr. Petros Kioutenian graduated from the American Academy of Larnaca in 1990 and went on to study at Iasi University in Romania, where he graduated from the Medical School.
He worked in the Internal Medicine and Surgery Clinics of Larnaca General Hospital as an intern doctor. He then began his specialization in General Medicine, which he completed in 2004.
He worked in the Emergency Department of Larnaca General Hospital from 2005 until 2019 as a First-Class Medical Officer. During his service, he gained knowledge, experience, and further training in Emergency Medicine.
He holds an MSc in Health Unit Management.
In September 2019, together with his wife Dr. Alona Koukouma Kioutenian and their esteemed friend and colleague Dr. Michalis Chinis, they founded the Larnaca Medical Center SCALAMED, joining the newly established General Healthcare System of Cyprus. It began as a multidisciplinary medical center staffed by 15 healthcare professionals.
With a vision for quality healthcare and expanded services, they transformed it into a Day Clinic offering services in eight surgical specialties.
